David gained unique experience and insight in the bloodstock world with Tattersalls , the worlds leading racehorse auctioneers , as auctioneer and Head of Valuations. Established in 2001 David McGreavy Bloodstock had immediate success with our first Royal Ascot runner, RIYADH winning the Ascot Stakes and IRON LAD a useful winning two year old making the frame in the valuable Tattersalls Breeders Stakes at the Curragh.

FRANK SONATA won 3 races in 2004 and developed into a fine stayer winning the Listed Weatherbys Bank “Further Flight” Stakes at Nottingham and Rathbarry Studs Barathea Finale Stakes at the Curragh. MOSCOW MUSIC also proved another shrewd purchase when winning at 2 years and being placed in the Listed National Stakes and Roses Stakes at Sandown and York as well as being placed third the Doncaster St Leger Yearling Stakes.

The winners continued with GURRUN , purchased as a foal for only 14000gs winning FOUR times and DIXIE BELLE winning 3 races at 2 and 3 years including the Dubai International Airport World Trophy at Newbury which is a Group 3 event.

More recently winners such as ARCHIVED, ARMIGERENT, BERBICE, FUSILI, STEAM CUISINE and TIA MIA have shown why David has few peers in the selection of fast racehorses.
